WATER WARFARE

Today was another great day at camp Metroland. Today was water day. Which was painful, cold, and fun. Unfortunately the Americans did not win this battle. We were destroyed. We also had city quest today which is basically the amazing race if you ever heard of it. We awere running all over the camp trying to complete the task. But again we failed miserably.

Everybody is doing great. Just in case you were wondering.

More to come.

Sincerely,
Myles Walker

Disco Disco

To start off. I want to apologize for not updating the blog for the past 2 days. We have just been really busy for the past two days setting up for camp and making sure everything was perfect for the arrival of the campers. I myself have been very stressed out because I am playing a big part in camp by running lights for the camp. So it causes me to be busy most of the time.

But anyway the first day of camp was a great success. They are actually have the late night, night club. I would like to thank the parents who bout glow sticks. THEY ARE A HIT. Camp for is most definitely edible. Tomorrow I will take some pictures of our meals and post them on here along with more pictures.

Again sorry for having no pictures we have been that busy.

Sincerely,
(tired) Myles Walker

END OF DAY 3

So as we are getting ready to go to sleep cause its 10:30pm here. We had a great day of shopping and experience the cultures of moldova. We went to the street market and got some amazing souvenirs. We also went to an old soviet bomb shelter in the basement of the building that the church is in. We got souvenir gas mask. We had pizza for lunch and picantes for dinner(there pastry pies. with either chicken, potatoes, apple, or cherrys).

We also went to a museum were we learned a lot about the history of Moldova. Austin Saxon decided to play a really old piano that was in the museum. Yes, he did get yelled at by a angry Moldavian women but Jamey stepped in and saved the day.

See the sights.

Its currently 7:47am local time here in Moldova. Its a nice sunny day here. Today we are meeting up at the church at noon to eat lunch and then we will be taking vans downtown where we will walk around and tour the city. I know for the guys in my host home(Jack Lovern and Austin Saxon) we had a great night sleep. They are actually still sleeping. Maybe I will take a quick picture so you can see where some of us are sleeping. We also emailed and skyped our parents last night. And the current pictures are from our lay over at frankfurt. And the first picture is outside the kitchen window in my host home.

Dont forget to add Jamey to your skype contacts if you ever want to talk to you child. Jameys skype is jameydickens or you can also add my skype which is mylesevan11. Im always logged on skype when i have internet.

More to come later this afternoon. I get thoughts of what everybody is thinking once we meet up so you can know whats on our minds thus far as prep for camp.

Sincerely,
Myles Walker
